ATEROVAX: advancing a cutting edge response to atherosclerosis

Aterovax is based in Paris, France, and focuses on the development and commercialization of patent-protected in vitro diagnostic kits targeting cardiovascular disease. The main field of investigation is the sPLA2 enzyme family, a powerful biomarker according to numerous studies.

Aterovax’s principal investor is the Specialized European Fund for Therapeutic Innovation (SEFTI) - Société Générale Asset Management (SGAM) managed by AMUNDI PEF.

The founders (see Board of Directors and Advisors) as well as their scientific research institute, the INSERM  (National French Institute for medical research and health) have been involved in the funding of the company.
