The company was founded in June 2006 to develop and commercialize cardiovascular products based on a patent portfolio  belonging to several leading French academic research organizations.

Understanding atherosclerosis has undergone a revolution in the past decade. Originally thought as “a cholesterol-fuelled, plumbing problem”, atherosclerosis is now recognized as a chronic immune inflammatory disease. This paradigm shift reveals the urgent need for new diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.
